Dance classes, craft making and masks workshops.

The institute offers weekly dance classes, including salsa, merengue and bachata. These rhythms are part of the Latin American culture and enjoy great popularity among both youth and adults. These genres are always present at parties, discos and various celebrations. The importance of dance classes is that the students learns about Costa Rica and its culture not only through theory, but in a fun way to enjoy the celebrations and typical activities of Costa Rican citizens.

There are workshops for the confection of the famous masks, that are part of antique Costa Rican tradition, and are commonly seen in paternal parties or patriotic celebrations. The masks are generally images that represent popular legends and figures. Barva is one of the main towns that strongly maintains this tradition and has parties that cannot lack masquerades or maroon. In addition, there are handcraft workshops  for different crafts made from materials such as clay, ceramic and wood, these objects are very appreciated by tourists because they are images representing the people of Costa Rica the flora and the fauna.
